Hi, I’m Megan Rubin, RN, BSN, BHS
I’m a Registered Nurse with over twelve years of experience in critical care and trauma, as well as prehospital experience as a flight nurse -and more than two decades in strength training and sports nutrition. I’ve seen the human body on the edge of survival and at its strongest.
I’ve also been married to a veteran for over two decades. Which means I understand stress, silent struggles, emotional exhaustion, dark humor, and the kind of resilience you don’t learn in school. That doesn’t mean I only work with military families, medical professionals, or hard-core athletes, it just means I understand survival mode on a cellular level.
Like many of my clients, my journey took a sharp turn when I became the patient. I found myself fatigued, in pain, dismissed, and told “your labs are normal”, all while my body was screaming otherwise. That experience lit a fire in me. So, I did what any stubborn and tenacious person would do, I went digging for answers. I trained in functional nutrition, integrative wellness, ozone, and IV therapies – just to name a few. I’m also finishing my Master of Science in Nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner (expected completion 2026) – because I fully intend to be the provider, I wish I had. I also plan on shaking things up even more.
Now, as an Integrative Health Consultant and RN. I don’t diagnose or prescribe. I educate, guide, and help you connect the dots. I take a functional, evidence-informed approach, and my clinical background to help clients identify patterns, explore possible root contributors, and build personalized wellness strategies. I support individuals dealing with hormone chaos, adrenal fatigue, chronic exhaustion, gut dysfunction, Lyme, MCAS, POTS, EDS, and other chronic complex illness – and I help athletes level up without burning out.
I believe true health is so much more than “not being sick” and healing isn’t about perfection, it’s about physiology; nervous system regulation, metabolic function, hormones, inflammation, nourishment, movement, recovery, and self-advocacy.
And to cover compliance: I don’t replace your medical provider. When appropriate and with your consent, I’m always happy to collaborate with your care team. Your safety, ethics, and my nursing license matter.
You’re not broken and It’s not all in your head. You’re just unheard. Let’s change that together.
